The United States of America is made up of four major regions. The North-East being the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions, the South is
the South-Atlantic, East South-Central, and West-South-Central regions, the Mid-West is divided into East North-Central and West North-Central,
and the West comprises the Mountain and Pacific regions. These regions are sub-divided into fifty states and one district*.
