The Unicorn Hotel is a seventeenth-century hotel with warm honey stone walls .
All nineteen bedrooms have their own character and individual style. Jacobean furniture nestles against modern fabrics and ancient beams lie against colour-washed walls. Modern bathrooms lead off antique furnished bedrooms, and there are both half tester and four-poster rooms. Soak up history at the Unicorn in the pretty sitting room with afternoon tea by the inglenook fireplace. Step over the flagstone hearth into the friendly atmosphere of the bar with its roaring log fire and wooden settles, which is as popular with the locals as it has always been. Sink into a comfy chair next to the fire and relax with a drink and a light meal. Alternatively, enjoy fabulous English cooking with a modern twist in the elegance of our recently refurbished dining room. Our food has recently been featured in 'Country Life' magazine and has also been placed in this years 'Which Good Food Guide 2006'. There are many beautiful golf courses, walks and bike rides for you to enjoy in the rolling Cotswold countryside and some wonderful Gardens and Historic Houses to visit. The arts of Cheltenham and Stratford are also in easy reach. All rooms have private bathroom en suite, remote control colour television, radio, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and direct dial telephone.
